Zippered Design

Our Zippered Design means that if for whatever reason we need to change the feel and/or support of your new mattress, it’s as simple as unzipping the cover and making the necessary changes. All Dormio Organic Mattresses feature zippered covers. Even though we do our best to help you choose the correct mattress, the only way to truly know that it is 100% right is to sleep on it. So if you new mattress needs to be a bit firmer or softer – no problem. We can make these minor adjustments right in your home.

Dual Comfort

Dual Comfort design is available in most of our units. When designing your mattress we look at your body shape, height, weight and sleeping position and recommend the units that would deliver optimum comfort and support. Sleeping position plays a part in the type of mattress firmness that is suitable. As a rule, stomach and back sleepers are better off on a firmer mattress while a side sleeper requires a softer more forgiving surface. Weight and height also impact your choice of firmness. Generally, a heavier person will need a firmer mattress and someone who is lighter will be happier on a more moderate firmness level. Body shape can have a big impact on your firmness choice and people who are curvier will often be better on a softer mattress.

Internal Layering

Internal Layering is the simplest construction and works for most people. This is where we stack layers of latex inside a single cover. Using 4 different densities of latex, we can achieve many different comfort and support levels. Since we do not glue anything together, the customization of this type of design is almost endless. At any point 5, 10 or 15 years down the road, your mattress can be changed to give it a new feel and support. Layers can be changed and exchanged. This way, as your body changes, your mattress can be adjusted to fit your needs. It is truly a lifetime mattress.

Modular Collections

Our Modular Collections are an effective way of adjusting the support and comfort level of your mattress. Since our pillow tops are a true traditional design and not attached to the rest of the mattress, our wide selection of pillow tops can be added or removed as desired. This gives you full control over the comfort and support afforded by your mattress at any time.
